Behind the Name
Why “Abraxas Designs”?
The name Abraxas comes from ancient Gnostic lore—a powerful word said to embody both light and shadow, god and daemon, unity and duality. It represents the blending of opposites, the harmony in contrast—a perfect symbol for the spaces I love to create.
As the Owner and Lead Designer, I chose the name for its mystique and balance. Only later, in a twist of creative fate, I began roleplaying as Penemue—a fallen angel who, in some traditions, is linked to Abraxas. That connection revealed itself over time, weaving a thread through my design work and my storytelling in Second Life.
Abraxas Designs has become more than a brand. It became a reflection of the layered worlds I inhabit—where style meets spirit, and beauty walks hand in hand with the unknown.
